The Division of State Providers (DSS) has charged the suspended Governor of the Central Financial institution of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Godwin Emefiele, to courtroom.
The CBN chief was charged after a Federal Capital Territory Excessive Court docket in Abuja gave the key police seven days to sue or launch him.
The DSS arrested the banker in June 2023 after he was requested to avoid his workplace just a few days earlier by President Bola Tinubu.

In a press release on Thursday evening, the spokesman of the DSS, Mr Peter Afunanya, confirmed that Mr Emefiele’s matter had been taken to courtroom for prosecution.
